Sending a Child to School
Learning is a lifelong adventure. We would like as many adventurers as possible. By supporting our 'send a child to school' fund with a once-off or monthly donation, you can help us to make the adventure a reality for more children in our community.

It costs approximately R1300 / month per child attending our school (all inclusive). Most children pay much less than that.

Feeding Scheme
We would like to start a feeding scheme to support our learners with regular, nutritious meals during the school day. For many learners, having access to food at school makes a meaningful difference to their ability to concentrate, learn, and take part fully in class. By starting this feeding scheme, we aim to support both the well-being and learning of our learners.

Staff Salaries
Help us fund the amazing people that make our school possible. Our dedicated teachers, leadership, and support staff bring our vision to life each day through their commitment, care, and hard work. They are the heart of our school, creating a nurturing and inspiring environment in which our children can learn and thrive. 
ZIS is a registered NPO with school fees charged on a progressive basis, on the principle that "those that can pay, pay". Currently 74% of our children require fee subsidisation. We therefore rely on fundraising to supplement staff salaries and school running costs.  

New Classrooms
As our school continues to grow, we are in need of additional classrooms to accommodate our learners. Building new classrooms will allow us to maintain appropriate class sizes, supportive learning environments and ensure that our learners have safe, comfortable spaces to learn.

 
Volunteer with us!
We welcome volunteers who would like to support our school community and be part of our learners’ journey. Whether you can help in the classroom, support reading or maths, assist with sports or after-school programmes, or share a specific skill, your time and involvement make a real difference. Volunteering with us is a meaningful way to support our learners while becoming part of a caring, growing school community.
